Development of small and medium Belarusian companies, 2016

There are presented the results of annual survey concerning the problem of development of small and medium business in Belarus in 2016. The aim of research is to analyze the economic position of small and medium companies in conditions of economic crisis of 2015 and the beginning of 2016 years, to estimate the conditions of doing business in Belarus, corruption prevalence and reasons of its appearance. Also, the survey contains the traditional section which is dedicated to the role of infrastructure support of small and medium businesses in promotion and protection of their interests.

The survey was held by the Laboratory of axiometric studies NOVAK for IPM Research Center in April-May, 2016. 400 small and medium private companies were interviewed. Directors, proprietors and leading specialist were respondents.
