CASE Research Network
Center for Social and Economic Research (CASE)
CASE - the Center for Social and Economic Research was established in 1991 as a private foundation. It is an independent, non-profit institute dealing with problems of post-communist transition, European integration and the world economy. As a think thank, CASE creates and disseminates proposals for practical solutions to social and economic policy questions, provides scholars, policy makers, business people, public officials, parliamentarians, and journalists with a platform for cooperation and a forum for exchange of views.
CASE is an important regional center, which through the creation of daughter-organizations replicates its knowledge and experience, thus helping to create a network of independent research institutes across post-communist countries. The CASE network consists of seven organizations based in Ukraine, Georgia, Kyrgyzstan, Moldova, Poland, Belarus and Russia.
