Condition of corruption in Belarus in perception of small and medium business
The paper analyzes the corruption situation in Belarus. Authors compare international indicators of the country and the SME perception of the corruption. Corruption spreading is temperate in overwhelming majority of business activities, according to the results of SME polling, made in May 2015. Belarusian entrepreneurs and the government share the responsibility for the cases of the corruption; however, they consider current anti-corruption efforts not enough. Business representatives believe strict control over state officials and their unlawful actions are the most effective measure for corruption elimination.
