The paper estimates the effects of possible reforms in social policy on the welfare of socially vulnerable groups and the population of Belarus as a whole. Based on data from households budget surveys for 2007-2012, possible changes in the disposal resources of the population due to the parametric reforms of the pension system, increase of tariffs for utilities and repeal of benefits have been modeled.
